DA is introducing at The NAMM Show its new Nitrox line. The 100 watt, 2.5 channel amp is the heaviest of Diamond’s product and is a lower cost alternative to its previous high end lines. The Nitrox, said owner Jeff Diamant, “is an absolutely killer amp at a competitive price point, but built to the quality level Diamond has already become known for.”

Featuring Diamond’s signature dual/volume gain design on Channel 2, the Nitrox is ultra-heavy, but punches with precision and focus. The head is paired with a matching, hand-crafted Diamond Nitrox 4x12 with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers that comes wired with Monster speaker cable.

As a companion to Diamond’s 1 channel classically styled Spitfire amp, DA is introducing its 2 channel companion to the Spitfire. Featuring Diamonds signature dual volume/gain on Channel 2 and a half-power switch (also on the Spitfire), the new Spitfire II combines vintage, but updated, tone with modern features like a half power switch, tube-buffered effects loop, Diamond’s signature Low Focus and Effect Return/Master Volume control. To mirror its mechanics, the Spitfire II also combines vintage with modern styling.

Along with the Spitfire II, Diamond has restyled its entire Spitfire line to match the styling of the Spitfire II. All Spitfire heads are available tan grille on black or tan grille on matching tan head shell. The Spitfire cabinet will come black with a black and tan 2-tone basket weave grille and contains 4 Celestion Vintage 30’s wired with Monster speaker cable.

DA is very proud to announce its new relationship with Kid Rock guitar players Jason Krause and Marlon Young. “We are very happy to have Jason and Marlon on our roster,” said owner Jeff Diamant. “The Kid Rock show requires a significant array of tones and we are proud that Jason and Marlon could find their tones in our products.”

Jason has gone exclusive with Diamond and Marlon is endorsing as well. Both guitar players are touring now with their custom, vintage-styled Diamond gear and are using both Phantom and Spec Op products.

Diamond has signed several new artists. Among the new artists are Dope guitarist Virus, Powerman 5000 guitarist Dave Pino, Endeverafter guitarist and front man Michael Grant and Justin Bender from the Canadian metal band Into Eternity. All these artist are touring or planning tours in ’08 and both Dope and Powerman 5000 have slated early to mid-’08 releases. Look for them in record stores and on stages across the US and overseas.

New for ’08 is Diamond’s more classically styled Spec Op C. The new styling eliminates the blue LED’s and adds a tolex wrapped front panel with inset perforated grille. The amp will not change in its heralded tone or features/versatility but it does provide an alternate unique look for guitarists who want a classic, but updated look. The Spec Op C 4x12 will feature the same speaker configuration, but with a classic black grille cloth face.

Taping is today, for tonight's Late Late Show on CBS featuring Alice Cooper as the musical guest. Keri will be using his Diamond Amplification cabinets on the set! Airs tonight on CBS at 12:05 a.m.

As of today, Keri Kelli is rocking his new DA cabs up front and center on Alice's stage. One of two guitar players for Cooper, Kelli now exclusively using DA heads and cabs.
